New Levels of Sensitivity Achieved

As part of the on-going development of assays at AgPlus, recent data reported has shown detection levels of:
• 1pg/ml for Testosterone in a competition assay
• 22pg/ml for HIV P24 antigen in a sandwich assay.
Whilst these assays are still in the development phase this recent data further demonstrates the capabilities of the AgPlus system

AgPlus accepted for 2 poster presentations at the 2014 AACC Critical and Point-of-Care Testing meeting

AgPlus are pleased to announce they have had two abstract submissions accepted for the AACC Critical and Point-of-Care Testing meeting to be held in San Diego, September 17-20.

The AgPlus posters are titled:

A truly hand held, rapid, sensitive electrochemical immunoassay point of care system

Saliva as a sample matrix for rapid, quantitative diagnostics in resource limited settings

This 25th international symposium looks at how technological advances in point-of-care testing and healthcare delivery trends are changing the face of clinical diagnostics and the quality of patient care. The conference covers emerging applications of molecular diagnostics, coagulation assessment, and infectious disease testing; considers delivery methods for disaster care and resource limited locations; and offers real world solutions for improved clinical outcomes.

AgPlus abstract accepted for oral presentation at the 2014 AACC Emerging Clinical & Laboratory Diagnostics: The Portable Lab

AgPlus Diagnostics are pleased to announce that their abstract submission for the 2014 AACC Emerging Clinical & Laboratory Diagnostics: The Portable Lab Conference has been accepted for an oral presentation on Thursday April 24th at 11.40am-11.55am  in the session titled “The Promise of Non- and Minimally Invasive Connected Devices.  The session is being chaired by Dr. Lance Ladic of Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics (Princeton, NJ).

The Ag+ presentation and poster is titled ‘Saliva as a sample matrix for rapid, quantitative diagnostics in low resource settings.  Ag+ will also have a poster on display in the evening session on Thursday April 24th between 4.30-6.30pm.

The AACC Emerging Clinical & Laboratory Diagnostics conference is being held on April 24th-25th at the The Fairmont San Jose Hotel.  This conference successor to AACC’s long-standing Oak Ridge Conference promises to continue the tradition of being the premier venue for emerging technologies that will shape the future of testing in clinical diagnostic labs.

If you would like to meet with AgPlus during the conference, please contact Courtney Nicholson to arrange a meeting (courtney.nicholson@agplusdiagnostics.com).
