Latest patent updates for AgPlus

AgPlus has recently filed a new patent on its platform technology combining its handheld reader and fluidic chip design under PCT/GB2013/052529 adding to its current portfolio of 5 patents.

An additional two regions have granted patents from the patent 3 family within the AgPlus portfolio.  Patents applications granted are 2011-517223 from Japan and 590219 from New Zealand


Meet with AgPlus at Annual AACC meeting in Houston

AgPlus Diagnostics will be attending the Annual AACC meeting from July 29th – 31st this year in Houston. Our poster ‘A novel electrochemical immunoassay point of care system’ will be on display in the poster session on July 31st. The poster number is B-88 and Ag+ will be available at their poster during the designated session time of 12.30-1.30pm on July 31st for discussions.



AgPlus featured in In-Vivo May 2013, Start-ups preview

AgPlus Diagnostics has been featured in the Elsevier Business Intelligence In-vivo publication in the Start-up Previews 2013 supplement.  The article covers the Ag+ business model, its funding, board of directors, technology and exploitation plans.  The piece explores the development of the Ag+ system as a platform technology and the assay chemistry that has allowed for a fully portable, quantitative rapid diagnostic product to be made and what makes the system unique.  It also looks at the target markets and areas for application of the Ag+ system and the potential licensees for the technology along with the company’s longer term vision including comments from Ag+ CEO, Keith Page.
