Controller of Personal Information

Any personal information processed by AgPlus in connection with this privacy policy is controlled by AgPlus Diagnostics Limited which is considered the “data controller” of your personal information.

What do we mean by Personal Information

What do we use your personal information for?

Marketing Information

We may send you marketing communications from time to time via email and if you wish to opt out at any time please let us know by emailing If you opt out of marketing communications you will still be sent information that is necessary for us to provide our service, such as project updates etc.

What is the legal basis for using your information?

AgPlus will only process your personal information where we have a legal basis to do so. The legal basis will depend on the reason or reasons AgPlus collected and needs to use your information. Under UK and EU data protection laws in almost all cases the legal basis will be:

  • Because we need to use your information to deliver the service requested
  • Because AgPlus needs to use your data to comply with legal obligation
  • Because you have consented to AgPlus using your information for a particular purpose

If processing your data is subject to any other laws, then the basis for processing your data may be different to that set out above and may in those circumstances be based on your consent in all cases.

How long do we keep your personal data?

We will keep the information for as long as we need it for the purpose it is being processed for. For example, if we process your data for delivery of contract development we ill keep the data during the period of contract and for a reasonable period after completion to deal with any enquiries relating to the work or to respond to any customer complaints.

We will actively review the information we hold and delete it securely or in some cases anonymise it, where there is no longer a legal, business or customer need for it to be retained. If you stop interacting with us as a customer we will delete or anonymise your data after 5 years.

Who do we share your information with?

Your personal information may be shared with companies within our group eg AgPlus Holdings. We may disclose your information with third parties in order to deliver the service you requested e.g subcontracted design work etc. Third party service providers we are using for marketing initiatives or customer surveys on our behalf.

Requesting a copy of your personal information

Under the UK Data Protection Act 1998 you may request a copy of any personal data about you held by AgPlus. There is no fee for this request.

The request must be in writing and include the following:

Details of the request

A signed letter from a senior representative of your company on headed paper with a company stamp (where applicable) authorising release of the data.

What are your legal rights in relation to the personal information we hold about you? Under the data protection laws in the European Union and the UK, you have certain rights in relation to your personal information. Response to exercise your rights will usually be provided within 3 months of the request.
